Hi!! My name is Abby and I am the owner of Turner & Co Events and am thrilled you are here! My entire life I have enjoyed putting events together. I love every part of them from imagining and dreaming of what it could be working will of the moving parts to make my event go off as smoothly as planned.
My mom jokes, as a child for entertainment she would pull all of my toys off of the shelves and I would put them back on the shelf and organize them -- needless to say, I am highly organized and function well in extreme chaos!
So what better than to organize and assist 2 families coming together on what some believe to be the most stressful day of your life. For me.... it's the happiest :)
Enough about weddings. There are so many other things that I love that make up who I am! I love Jesus so much and He is the reason that any of this is possible. I have lived in so many different places (TX, AR, AL, SC) and I ended up back here in Arkansas! I love Arkansas so much: the earth, the green trees, the scenery, the people, and most of all my family! I have 2 younger sisters and the middle sister just got married this spring! Man, it was so fun! And before you ask - no, I did not organize her wedding. That is a whole different blog post about why you actually need a wedding planner/coordinator.
So besides Jesus, Arkansas, and my family... I have this dog Baylor. He is the absolute joy of my life (my earthly life because obviously Jesus has already become the joy of entire life). He will be 5 on August 8! I cannot believe I have had him this long! It feels like yesterday that I was picking him up at an Exxon from a friendly old lady in Texarkana on my way back to Baylor. (yes I am full blown green and gold, Sic Em Bears!!). He goes everywhere with me and is the perfect companion! Ask anyone, they will tell you.
I started Turner & Co Events so that I can begin growing this thing I call my passion and my hobby. I envision one day having branches, an e commerce site, multiple locations, and a staff to assist young women in Making their Dreams a Reality. I am committed to this thing and I love doing it and I am so thankful for bride's like you that help me make this thing possible!
My career crush is Charlotte Jones Anderson, the Chief Branding Officer of the Dallas Cowboys. This is my favorite quote from her and what I try and live by every day!
